We are delighted to share that four students, Aryan Banerjee, Kshitij Madan, Lavania Kalyani, and Sulagna Roy, hailing from the esteemed MA-SDP (Master of Arts in Sustainable Development Practice) program at TERI School of Advanced Studies, had the honor of representing our institution as youth delegates at the MENA Climate Week held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. These students are part of the 2020-2023 and 2021-2023 MA-SDP batches within the Department of Policy Studies and Management. Their participation as youth delegates was made possible through the support and sponsorship of the Ministry of Tourism, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and they were selected by the SDSN Academy. This opportunity afforded them a remarkable platform for learning and engagement with global leaders and fellow young development practitioners from across the world, offering a unique perspective on climate change and sustainable development.
The representation of our students at this prestigious event was exclusively a part of the global MDP (Master's in Development Practice) student community, showcasing the exceptional talent and commitment of our academic institution.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lucia Rodriguez, Director of the MDP Program Secretariat, and Dr. Swarup Dutta, MDP Leader for India and Program Coordinator for MA-SDP, for their guidance and mentorship. Their support has been invaluable in shaping our students' experiences and opportunities for global engagement.
This achievement stands as a testament to the excellence of our students and the commitment of our institution to fostering future leaders in sustainable development. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact that Aryan, Kshitij, Lavania, and Sulagna will continue to make on the global stage in the field of sustainable development.
