World Solar Day was celebrated on 21 June 23 at the campus of TERI SAS in collaboration with SESI in a grand manner. The event was graced by prominent academicians and experts in the field of renewable resources. Vice Chancellor TERI SAS, Prof Prateek Sharma while welcoming, the panelists and audience highlighted the importance of the event and stressed on conserving natural resources and shifting to alternate means of energy.

SESI is a multi-faceted national membership organization and thus possesses extensive technical and scientific expertise provided by its members, the Society is a modern, future oriented Society. SESI has been serving the needs of the renewable energy community and the Society supports its members in the advancement of renewable energy technology, implementation, and education.

The following dignitaries on behalf of SESI attended the function on celebration of SOLSTIC - the longest day of Year (World Solar Day) and addressed the gathering.
