The seventh webinar of the M.A. (Public Policy and Sustainable Development) webinar series organized on 5th June 2021 discussed about the sustainable energy and India's future from the perspective of energy efficiency. 

While Dr Ritu Mathur discussed the choices that India has in the net-zero emissions scenario, Mr Viraj Desai talked about the real and present state of India's transition to sustainable energy alternatives including the Electric Vehicles.

Dr Ritu Mathur, Director, Integrated Assessments & Modelling, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and Mr Viraj Desai, Press and Information Officer, Delegations of the European Union to India spoke on ‘India's Energy sector choices in a net-zero emissions scenario’ and 'Indian companies swift transition to sustainable energy alternatives in the new global order and India's EV Scenario’ respectively.
