A Building Learning in Sustainable Science (BLISS) School on the theme ‘Ensuring Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns’ was launched on 18 April 2016 at TERI University.
Mr Jitendra Kumar, Adviser (Natural Resources and Environment), NITI Aayog, Dr Leena Srivasatva, Vice-Chancellor, TERI University, Dr Rajeev Seth, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, TERI University, Dr Shaleen Singhal, Head, Department of Policy Studies, TERI University and Ms Sara Castro, Programme Officer, UNEP were among the dignitaries present on the occasion.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr Jitender Kumar during the inaugural session.
The five-day event was attended by over a 100 participants virtually as well as by being at the campus including the policy planners from South Asia (Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India) as well as researchers, practitioners, students and academicians from India.
The event was concluded on 22nd April.
