Students of the TERI University celebrated Ethnic Day with great zest and joy on 03 November 2015. The celebrations started a day earlier when students participated in Rangoli competition and decorated the campus with beautiful traditional designs of birds, flowers and other patterns.
Ethnic Day celebrations started with the prize distribution ceremony to felicitate the winners of Sports Meet 2015. Awards were given away to students by the University's Acting Vice Chancellor, Dr. Rajiv Seth; Registrar and Head (Outreach) Capt. Pradeep Padhy; and sponsors of Sports Meet Mr. Anil Gupta, Chief Advisor for India and South Asia, Aptoide and Manas Awasthi, Student, Water Science and Governance Programme, TERI University.
Later in the evening, several students participated in an ethnic walk wearing their traditional clothes followed by bhangara, a Punjabi folk dance, musical performance and poetry. The event concluded with dance and a DJ party. It was a fun-filled day with lot of joy and excitement amongst students.
