Independence Day eve celebrations at the TERI University were a joyous occasion. The event commenced with a talk by Dr Rajiv Seth, Acting Vice Chancellor, emboldening the students to strive towards excellence followed by a cultural programme. Ms. Nishtha Verma, student, First Semester, MSc ESRM gave a solo dance performance on Ganesh Vandana. Thereafter, a fascinating group musical composition was presented by the members of Music and Dance Club.
The TERI University Nukkad Natak Samiti, a component of the Dramatics club presented a skit on "Badalta Bharat", which highlighted our perpetuated fight for liberation, for equity, and justice even after 68 years of independence. A suitable end to the afternoon's performances was an upbeat medley of dance performances depicting women empowerment. The performances were exhilarating and enthused the audience bringing the celebrations to a fitting close.
