The students of the TERI University celebrated Independence Day on campus for the first time on 13th of August 2014. The occasion was doubly special because it was the first event jointly attended by the new entrants to the University and their seniors.

The afternoon started with an address by the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Leena Srivastava, welcoming the students and congratulating them for the enthusiasm with which they prepared for the Independence Day celebration. Dr. Rajiv Seth, Registrar, TERI University led the audience with a reverberating "Jai Hind" bringing the celebrations to a fitting close.
