A seminar series titled ‘Strengthening Water and Sanitation in Urban Settings’ was organized on 19th August 2015. While the seminar series aimed at strengthening measures for water, sanitation and hygiene at TERI University, it was designed to address key issues in the WASH sector, so that wide range of students and working professionals get exposure to the latest techniques, innovations and interventions. The fifth expert lecture in this series was organized on 19th August 2015.
Dr Sudeshna Chatterjee is the founder and CEO of the non-profit Action for Children's Environments that engages in research, advocacy, planning and design to improve the living environments of children while upholding the rights of all children. Trained as an architect and urban designer, Sudeshna has a PhD in Community and Environmental Design from North Carolina State University, USA.
