The sixth titled, ‘Geoinformatics Applications in Water Resources’ held on 12th May 2021 did provide the participants opportunity to know more about various facets, patterns, challenges and solutions to water scarcity and water conservation.

Dr Vinay Shankar Prasad Sinha, Associate Professor and HoD, Department of Natural Resources enlightened the participants about various technological advances in the domain of Geoinformatics which can help us conserve water better and fight water scarcity looming large in different parts of the world including India.
