M.A. Sustainable Development Practice (SDP) programme organised Sustainability Lecture Series (Series#2) on Policy Coherence and Governance for sustainable development on 7th May 2021.
The talk was delivered by Ms. Carina Lindberg, a policy analyst, OECD, France. She talked about how SDG’s implementation adverbs are often disconnected from the mainstream policy agenda and how SDGs are often not integrated into “core governance” instruments.
Ms. Carina also talked about how multilateral organization like OECD was then helping policymakers from both developing and developed nations with necessary institutional mechanisms and policy tools and how they could use different tools to “strengthen policy coherence” for sustainable development.
