A series of Mini-BLISS Schools on sustainable development are being organized by the TERI University (TU) with support from United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the European Union targeted towards under privileged students of Higher Secondary level (11 and 12 standard) in Delhi NCR and Hyderabad.
The Schools will introduce sustainable development concepts in 30 low-income public schools of Delhi and Hyderabad aiming to provide exposure to around 900 students and teachers.
The sessions at these Mini BLISS Schools will be led by the postgraduate and PhD scholars of TERI University. A kit including solar lanterns by TERI will be given to each student for access to renewable energy and lighting sources at their homes and for schoolwork.
