The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) paves the way to transform our world through sustainable development by 2030. Educational institutions play a vital role as drivers of knowledge creation, human capital development, policy research and multi-stakeholder dialogue. Therefore, it is imperative to establish a community of likeminded researchers and academics, who are working to advance research on sustainable development to strengthen policies that support the SDGs.
In light of this, TERI University and the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) South Asia organize the annual Young Researchers' Symposium on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the sidelines of the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS). The first symposium was held from 5-7 Feb. 2015 alongside the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit 2015.
