TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS), a Deemed to be University, New Delhi organised an induction session for the new students who got themselves enrolled in different Doctorate and Master level programmes of the institute.
The session was organised online in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
The session had messages from the Vice-Chancellor, Deans, Registrar, and other key people who enlightened the new students about TERI SAS as an institute and how this journey will change them and add value to their lives.
The session also included an interactive session by Institution's Innovating Council (IIC) and an alumni session in which our alumnus cherished the memories they made at TERI SAS.
The faculty also shared key inputs with the student which would help them in conducting effective research and raise themselves to the high standards set and practised by TERI SAS over the years.
TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS), New Delhi, celebrated 74th Independence Day at the Vasant Kunj campus on August 15, 2020. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Manipadma Datta hoisted the national flag at the campus and felicitated COVID warriors for their relentless commitment against the pandemic. Faculty members, students and other staff members joined the celebration online and enjoyed the cultural programme.
The Institute Innovation Council (IIC) at the TERI School, in association with SunAlpha Energy, organized a webinar titled 'Opportunities for beginners in Indian Solar Rooftop Sector’. The session was taken by Mr Puneet Goyal, co-founder, SunAlpha Energy.
Puneet shared his entrepreneurial journey with the students, inspiring them to create their own ventures using innovative business models and technological solutions. More than 40 people actively participated in the session, including students, alumni, faculty and professionals.
TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS) in collaboration with the Government of India Rooftop Solar Technical Assistance Program supported by the World Bank hosted the “2nd International Conference on Business, Economics and Sustainable Development (ICBESD-2019)” on January 17-18, 2019. An overwhelming response of more than 150 papers was received from eminent national and international institutes including the IIMS, IITs, central universities and other prestigious business schools. The conference comprised three panel discussions on emerging themes of health finance, circular economy, and solar rooftop systems and 16 parallel paper presentation sessions with eminent academicians, corporate leaders and policy-makers chairing the sessions on various themes relating to the Sustainable Development Goals. The conference was a unique platform for faculty, researchers, students, corporate leaders and other stakeholders to deliberate on the emerging horizons to meet the mammoth challenge of sustainable development.
