The 23rd of January is celebrated every year as ‘Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti’ to remember and honour Netaji’s vigour as one of India’s greatest freedom fighters. Subhas Chandra Bose was a man of great courage and willpower; he was a true son of our motherland; a scholar, a patriot, a leader, an intellectual, a visionary, a socialist, and a warrior. His untiring efforts for the freedom of our nation earned him the title, ‘Netaji’ which means 'The Leader'.
His birthday is celebrated across India by garlanding his statue, hoisting the Indian national flag, and organizing cultural programs at institutes.
Writing is an art capable of carving some of the longest-lasting impressions on humanity. It has the power to create, destroy, unite and divide worlds. So, the Eco Club, TERI SAS took this opportunity and organised a creative writing competition where the participants used their creativity to write on the life of Netaji and how his efforts contributed massively to making India an independent nation.
