“Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it isn't so.” – Lemony Snicket The quintessential rational behind sustainable development lies in the holistic development of an individual at all the levels. Our society readily focusses on uplifting economic standards of its people but unfortunately sometimes fails to address one important concern – Health and Well Being. In order to abet the need to drive our attention to mental health and well-bring, on 13th Nov’19 TERI School of Advanced Studies (SAS) organized a Mental Health Series workshop named HIMMAT along with renowned development and policy professional, Niharika Sharma. Niharika Sharma is a development and policy professional working with young adults on issues of mental health, gender and sexuality and with vulnerable population groups, seeking sustainable solutions to problems regarding psychological support, sanitation and education among others.
