On the occasion of the 'National Youth Day' on 12th January 2021, a talk was organized by the Department of Energy and Environment under the 'Institute Lecture Series' of the TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS). The Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Awardee of 2020, Dr Abhijit Mukherjee, Associate Professor in the Department of Geology and Geophysics, and School of Environmental Science and Engineering at IIT Kharagpur was the main speaker for the event. Dr Mukharjee spoke on 'Indian Groundwater Rejuvenation and Sustainability' and the discussion witnessed an engaging conversation where the participants discussed various aspects of groundwater situation in the country with Dr Mukherjee.
