The TERI School of Advanced Studies was honoured to host a mesmerizing Hindustani Classical Vocal Music Recital featuring the renowned artist VIDUSHI KALAPINI KOMKALI, in collaboration with SPIC MACAY, on the 23rd of September.
Kalapini Komkali is widely acclaimed as one of the most exceptional classical vocalists among the younger generation. She proudly carries on the musical legacy as the daughter and disciple of the late legendary Pandit Kumar Gandharva, and she has received invaluable training from her illustrious mother, Vidushi Vasundhara Komkali.
The event drew an enthusiastic audience, including students, faculty, and staff of TERI SAS, and was also open to the wider public, making it a remarkable musical experience for all in attendance.
A workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) awareness under the aegis of Institutions’ Innovation Council-TERI SAS was held on September 22, 2023 Friday; 330-530 PM in the university campus. The sessions were taken by the resource persons from Vastav Intellect, an IPR consultancy firm, namely Mr. Venkatesh Bharti and Ms. Deepa Kohli. The workshop covered topics encompassing the substantive and procedural aspects of IPR. Discussions and deliberations on questions like What is IPR ?, What are Patents and Types of Patents ? Difference Between Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights ? Limitations of patents , Process of obtaining IPR , How to protect your innovation across the globe? Took place. Students pursuing MSc (Biotechnology), MBA, LL.M. MA (SDP) and PhD attended the session.
