Dr. Shantanu De Roy is an economist who specializes in Agrarian Studies, issues related to Indian Economy and Development Economics which are also his main research interests. He has almost 6 years' work experience in teaching and research. Prior to joining the TERI University, Dr. De Roy was with a research institution, Foundation for Agrarian Studies and then joined the Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) and St. Stephens' College, University of Delhi. He has taught at the Under Graduate and Post Graduate levels. He has offered courses like Indian Economy, Development Economics, Indian Agriculture in a Global Setting, International Economics and Macroeconomics.
