Dr. Adwitiya is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences, TERI School of Advanced Studies since February 2024. Previously, she served academics & research for approximately 11 years in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Information Technology, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida-62, U.P., since February 2013. Moreover, during her doctoral research career in Jawaharlal Nehru University since 2008, she received First Rank certificate for topping through all semesters in M.Tech. batch 2008-2010. She was also awarded with Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in 2012. She has published more than 90 articles as SCI/Scopus journals, international conferences, books, and chapters. She has been in the publication & review committee of IEEE/ACM International Conference on Contemporary Computing since year 2013. She has also delivered Lecture Series on Networks & Graphs, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Performance Analysis of Computing Systems; organized by UGC, CEC, New Delhi in form of EDUSAT Live Lectures. She has guided 21 post-graduate dissertation/industrial thesis and more than 75 graduate minor/major projects in data science, social networking, large-scale graph algorithms, sensor networks, data mining & machine learning. Presently, she is supervisor to 5 PhD scholars in the field of data science, social networking and sensor networks, of which 4 have been awarded. For her contribution to research, she was promoted as IEEE Senior Member in 2019 by Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), New York, USA. She is also an active professional member of ACM research community.
