Dr Soman is a Conservation Biologist with 12+ years of experience in the field of Economic Valuation of Ecosystem Services pertaining to Forest, Mangrove Ecosystem and Socio-economic Studies of Vulnerable communities. Associated with several government projects funded by UNDP, Kerala State Land Use Board, Kerala Forest Department, Kerala Forest Development Corporation and Kerala State Government and Resource Person in Green Skill Development Programme on 'Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Green GDP' by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) under the KSCSTE-KFRI in Kerala.
