Garima Kaushik is the Head of IPCA Centre for Waste Management and Research at TERI School of Advanced Studies. She has a master’s degree in social work from Delhi School of Social Work, Delhi University and has qualified NET.
Ms Kaushik has over ten years of experience in planning, managing and monitoring development sector projects across India. She has been involved in outreach, capacity building and M&E programs. She has worked with the corporate and government sector for several multidisciplinary projects on Waste Management, Sustainable Consumption, Social Entrepreneurship, Climate Change, WaSH, and leadership.
In the past, she has worked with development sector organizations like The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), Aga Khan Foundation, Digital Empowerment Foundation, and Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA) in various capacities. She has also been a faculty at Department of Social Work, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida where she taught Environment and Disaster Management, Sociology, Community Work, and Project Management.
She is the co-author of the book ‘A Handbook for Entrepreneurs in Solid Waste Management: A Step towards Atmanirbhar Bharat' published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing, UK
