Dr. Ramkishore Singh holds a master’s degree in physics and doctorate in Energy. His doctoral degree was completed at the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore in the field of Energy, focusing on Energy conservation in cold storages through passive and hybrid cooling systems. He has over 13 years research and teaching experience in the field of renewable energy particularly solar energy. Before joining TERI SAS, he has been associated institutions like Lovely Professional University, Durban University of Technology (DUT) and TERI. At DUT, he was instrumental in establishing renewable energy research and testing facilities, prototyping of various renewable energy conversion technologies and their field demonstration. He has contributed significantly on the development of solar thermal conversion technologies, solar thermal and photovoltaic hybrid systems to provide the solutions for clean cooking and preservation of perishable products as well as dynamic glazing solutions for high performance buildings. He has also secured research grants from national and international funding agencies. His current interests include modelling and simulation of buildings, solar thermal devices, renewable energy driven preservation technologies for perishable products, daylighting and energy efficient building designs as well as imparting skill based trainings on Renewable Energy Conversion Technologies.
