Position Title: Field Investigators
Description of the role: They are primarily responsible for supporting data collection activities, including conducting surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions in the field. Their duties also involve coordinating with respondents, ensuring ethical research practices, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in data entry and preliminary analysis.
Project sanctioned by: Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, Project titled as “Assessing Board-Level Diversity to Enhance ESG Actions in Indian Companies: A Sectoral Study for Policy Implications” (Application No. ICSSR-RMM-2024-13370)
Duration of the Position: 5 months
Emoluments: Rs 20,000/- per month
Essential Qualifications and Desired Experience:
QUALIFICATION:
• Master's degree in a relevant field (Social Sciences preferred)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have laptop for data entry
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of UP East local language and dialects
• Ready to travel
• Proficiency in data collection techniques and tools
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct field surveys and interviews as part of the ICSSR Empirical Project
• Gather and analyse data in a systematic and accurate manner
• Assist in data entry and reporting
• Collaborate with project coordinators to achieve research goals
• Maintain project records and ensure data confidentiality

Position: Research Assistant
Description of the role: Their responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, assisting in research design, managing data collection tools, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and preparing reports and presentations. They may also help with documentation, referencing, and coordinating project activities.

Essential Qualifications and Desired Experience:
QUALIFICATION:
• Master's degree in a relevant field (Social Sciences preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Access to a laptop for research analysis
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel; SPSS skills are preferred
• Prior research publications are desired
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Data analysis using SEM or/and Thematic Analysis with NVivo
• Proficiency in data cleaning and statistical analysis
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience of research paper writing will be preferred
