The purpose of this study was to evaluate Delhi people's willingness, awareness, and barriers in relation to sustainable air travel. A mixed-method approach was used, including a structured survey questionnaire administered to a representative sample of residents, informal interviews with airport staff, a literature review, and document analysis of official reports, airline sustainability reports, and media articles. The findings demonstrated an increase in the general understanding of sustainable air travel, eco-friendly airport initiatives, biofuels, airlines with reduced carbon footprints, and carbon offsetting schemes. It also examined their readiness to spend, put in more time, and select environmentally responsible solutions. Lastly, it examined the difficulties and obstacles they believe could prevent them from choosing environmentally friendly air travel.
