Abstract:

Environmental, Social, and’Governance (ESG) factors have become crucial’metrics for assessing a company's sustainability and’ethical’performance. ESG covers various criteria that evaluate a company's impact on the environment, how it treats employees and stakeholders, and’its adherence to ethical governance practices.

These factors underscore the’importance of’sustainable waste management practices and’ how ESG considerations play a role in promoting environmental responsibility, resource effi ciency, regulatory compliance, social engagement, and effective governance. They also stre ss the significance of’embracing circular economy principles, reducing waste, increasing r ecycling efforts, recovering resources, and’engaging with stakeholders as vital’strategies fo r sustainable waste management.

By employing ESG strategies, chemical’industries can showcase their dedication to responsible and’sustainable business practices while tackling the intricate challenges linked’to waste management.
