Abstract:

Groundwater plays important role for industrial development in the all regions, thus sustainable groundwater development and preservation of groundwater quality should receive priority attention. This paper outlines the process through which groundwater impact assessment in the surrounding area of Industry and to identify impact due to ground water withdrawal by industry on surrounding ground water sources and recommend the artificial recharge measures to increase the recharge quantum.
