Sustainability Reporting helps us in providing information regarding economic, environmental, social, and governance performance through the various reporting standards like GRI, TCFD, SASB etc. Non-financial reporting in the corporates plays a very important role in accounting. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the various accounting practices currently used by Indian MDF companies. The study examines the common reporting practices of top peer groups and compare it with the MDF Company. The study tries to highlight importance of sustainability reporting and how it can help in creating better transparency and build good reputations through the reporting standards. It also focuses on creating a future Sustainability roadmap for the MDF company so that it can match with it peer groups.
