The present study is about the assessment of Quality of life in two public housing schemes which are- Kalindipuram housing scheme and Trivenipuram Housing Scheme. The methodology adopted for the study is primary survey and observational data from site visit and various secondary data such as Master plan of Prayagraj 2021, URDPFI guidelines, NBC guidelines, etc. The analysis is done with the help of measurable and observarional factors which are compared against various norms and guidelines to assess the quality of life of Kalindipuram and Trivenipuram Housing Scheme. The study has not illuminated on citizens’ perception associated with the living environment of the housing schemes due to nature of data collected and methodology adopted. The results indicates that both the public housing schemes need to deliver more service provisions, especially coming to the asect of inclusivity and barrier free environment. Suggestions and recommendations are made to strengthen the service delivery system, management system of housing schemes, enhancing the aspect of inclusive planning and adopting sustainable ways of service provisions for overall developmental success of public housing schemes.
