This study aims to demonstrate use of Analytical Hierarchy Process along with Delphi technique to develop a CSR performance index for the manufacturing sector. It also seeks to highlight essential indicators for performance measurement that is derived through a multi stakeholder, multi-dimensional approach achieved through consultation of academicians, managers of manufacturing industry and customers. Results show that domains of environment, legal and social performance to be the key contributors to CSR performance, while economic performance was deemed to be a secondary influencer. The analysis also achieved a high consistency level hence supporting effectiveness. Domain weighted scores of individual indicators have also been detailed in the study.
