Abstract:

The Internet of Things (IoT) connects real-world sensors to the internet in the age of smart technology. Today's cold storage facilities are much more than just a place to keep products. In this article, we propose a "smart cold storage" that will serve as a hub to increase the efficiency and speed up the process throughout the entire cold storage by using the newest technologies and the Internet of Things. This prototype includes an IoT- based smart cold storage that interacts with the goods placed inside, gathers information about them, and converts that data into useful data.

The refrigeration business has shown its importance in the storage of food and beverages. Refrigeration warehouses are widely used to keep a variety of huge quantities of fresh food at controlled temperatures in order to preserve its freshness. Any deviations from these ideal conditions have a negative influence on the cold stock. As a result, it is critical to reduce the margin of these possible hazards, which can result in significant losses for the cold-storage industry. On-site examination can be a reliable way to manage these concerns, but it is a time-consuming and inefficient process due to the possibility of human error. As a result, it presents a way for developing a smart IoT system that can be used to remotely monitor and analyze refrigeration warehouses using dashboards on a mobile or laptop.
