ANNOUNCEMENTS
The State of Environment Report (SoER) comprises various verticals. Among which this report gives you an overview of Waste and Energy sectors within the state of Uttar Pradesh. DPSIR framework is used while narrowing down the statistics, current situation and initiatives by the state. Rising population, behavioural pattern of people and various other tangible/intangible activities impact both the sectors. Policy interventions are being made by the government to keep progressing in both the sectors. At the end of the waste section an activity has been included to create awareness among people regarding the importance of source segregation of waste. While in the Energy sector, various parameters are compared with the policy interventions in this sector and how it has been effective within the state.
