Abstract:

Among the 9 planetary boundaries, we have almost exhausted the biodiversity and are one of the most exploited. Hence, organizations and industries are working towards making themselves sustainable and green by conserving biodiversity and using minimal resources. The initial step any beverage company takes is to reduce the consumption and usage of water. Then they move on with other interventions and inventions to redesign their products. In this study, ‘ABC’ a malt beer brewing company that uses barley as its main ingredient and has taken steps towards climate resilience with farmers of Rajasthan and Haryana and TTC took an assessment for the same. The survey was an amalgamation of both qualitative and quantitative.

The study will throw light upon the sage of drought-resistant seeds for less water retention and innovative irrigation and soil conservation method and the ways improvements can be further incorporated. It will guide the company and shed light on the farming practices in arid and semi-arid regions of India.
