The project revolves around the non-financial reporting of Wipro Limited. These days maintain transparency and disclosing non-financial indicators majorly Environmental, Social and Governance parameters have become vital to sustain the competitive edge. SEBI has made it mandatory to report on BRSR which has provoked corporates to act on sustainability disclosures. This was the initial project where Wipro has decided publish BRSR report including both essential and leadership indicators. Further, Wipro extends it non-financial reporting to other global frameworks such as GRI, DJSI, SASB, FTSE4GOOD, CDP and TCFD. The non-financial data analysis and interpretation is pivotal to understand the position of Wipro amongst market competition. This will help them to improve their ESG parameters for better position in the IT service industry. Apart from this, another major area of contribution was Integrated Annual report where Wipro follows multiple capital approach. The understanding of capitals and reporting over the same helps to learn much better the way business performs as each capital are interlinked. Significant areas of improvement have been found at the end of non-financial data analysis which would be helpful to improve their sustainability practices in upcoming years. Also, benchmarking study provided a foundation to understand peer and global best practices in the ESG space.
