Abstract:

Nano fertilizers have potential to satisfy plant nutrition necessities, establish farmers productivity and grant sustainability to crop production system without settling for less on crop yields. Nanotechnology utilizes nanomaterials in the scope of 1 nm to 100 nm; particles in this reach have one-of-a-kind qualities having compelling collaboration at target locales. IFFCO has natively developed at its Nano Biotechnology Research Center (NBRC), Kalol, Gujarat and presented Nano fertilizers viz., Nano urea - fluid (Nano N), Nano zinc (Zn), and Nano copper (Cu). These have been marked as IFFCO NANO UREA, IFFCO NANO ZINC, and IFFCO NANO COPPER. IFFCO nano-fertilizers meet all the ongoing public and worldwide rules connected with nano innovation or nano scale agri-inputs. They are in a state of harmony with OECD testing rules (TGs) and "Rules for Testing of NAIPs and Food Products" delivered by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Reaped produce of yields applied with IFFCO nano-Urea, nano-zinc, also, nano-copper have been tracked down fit for utilization with no unfavorable impact. Foliar splashes of the nano fertilizers at basic yield development arranges either alone or in combination have been found to increment crop yields even at decreased degrees of utilization of their traditional analogs. IFFCO Nano urea (liquid) has been informed under FCO, 1985 and business creation has begun. This paper audits the advantages of these Nano fertilizers in expanding the nutrient use proficiency (NUE) and sustainability, and crop productivity and profitability of significant crop production systems.

Keywords: Nano urea-liquid, nutrient use efficiency, Nano fertilizer, nano zinc, nano copper, sustainability, profitability.
