Abstract:

Climate change’s impact on agriculture and related communities has evidently been devastating. This is because of the dependence on it by majority of the population which are living in developing countries. So that’s why I have chosen the 100 most vulnerable cities in the nation according to the report of National Initiative for Climate Resilient. The climate change interventions are very complex in nature to be communicated to people and it requires skill and knowledge of the traditional practices and beliefs to communicate it to the targeted communities. All the objective of the study are being met by taking up qualitative analysis method in which questionnaire design will be prepared to understand the issues directly from the community and data will be collected based on secondary data sources. Every study area has shown improvement with the necessary intervention made. The intervention made were purely based on the interaction made on a regular basis with the farmer’s community. This shows that the only way forward for adoption and implementation of sustainable farming is by first understanding the issues faced by farmers in making the change and then fill the gaps with assistance.

Key words: Climate change, farming, impact assessment, Climate resilience, water conservation.
