ANNOUNCEMENTS
This research work is based on a secondary literature review of data available on various carbon mechanisms available under Paris agreement. The research is not only limited to mechanisms available under Paris agreement but also it tries to capture the basic understanding of emergence of market-based instruments under Kyoto protocol and Stockholm conference. It discusses about how GHG’S are a threat and how temperature rise is leading global warming and climate change which in result is leading stress to different world economies. It also gives an understanding about carbon foot-printing, GHG assessment techniques ,role of ISO and carbon offsetting mechanism through market based instruments like Gold standard, Clean development mechanism, Gulf carbon council and Global emissions Standard. As a result of the research a comparative analysis in the form of matrice is made out of these mechanisms which provides in hand data for future studies and projects to be implemented.
