Abstract:

In this study, the analysis is done concerning the development of Corporate social responsibility (CSR) in public health in India. This essay is an attempt to analyze the CSR policies in India as well as the case study of top 10 BSE Companies. CSR has a significant role in the development of a nation worldwide. The main reason is as to why this phenomenon is lifting, is the global competitiveness. The corporates mainly want to earn extra goodwill in the market and CSR helps in building up loyalty and concerns of the public at large.

This study explores the scope of CSR in public health. Whereas many countries don't have any laws but companies have some strict norms for regulation and execution of CSR. The focus of this study is to explain that CSR policies doesn‟t meet the basic requirements of public health.
