ANNOUNCEMENTS
Public Bus System plays a major role in Delhi public transit system and a major portion of Delhi use buses for the daily commute. But the current bus system of Delhi is facing many challenges and because of that, it is not able to grow as much as it should grow. In a city like Delhi, there is a need for strengthening public transportation because Delhi is facing air pollution, traffic congestion, an increase in private vehicles and road accidents. For reducing all these problems there is only one solution and that is strengthening the public transit so that people give preference to the public transport system.
In this, I study the importance of the bus system along with the challenges and problems which is current bus system of Delhi is facing. I have also focused upon the sustainable approach for transportation like e-buses and the importance of CNG as fuel. CNG contribute so much to the reduction of Delhi air pollution. The way forward and solutions are also discussed that how can the problems can be reduced which is faced by the current bus system of Delhi.
