Creating a brand audit and a brand communication plan for Jaquar’s sustainability

Abstract:

This dissertation looks into how Jaquar as a prominent sanitary ware & bath fittings brand tries to maintain its brand image by doing good marketing and branding efforts. The main aim of this study was to gain insights into the functioning of Jaquar as a brand, its marketing initiatives, along with knowing about its major competitors in the sanitary ware & bath fittings industry. I also gained insights about what perceptions the customers, dealers and employees have about Jaquar. Furthermore I gathered knowledge on doing a strategic analysis of Jaquar using Star Mapping and Sustainable Value Framework, where I obtained information on several aspects that will tell about the functioning of the Jaquar Group as a whole. There were several small assignments been done in the course of this project work including knowing about how much prominent is Jaquar when it comes to Digital Marketing and Social Media.

Moreover, there were a set of relevant findings been attained like, getting to know about Jaquar‟s Product Catalog, learning about issues like Product Imitation that Jaquar faces as a Company, also interacted with Jaquar‟s creative agency people, as well as how it treats its customers, dealers and employees. I also applied my knowledge of Star Mapping and Sustainable Value Framework that I learnt in my MBA Programme at TERI SAS in my project study, that further helped me learn the concept even better. I also got to know about how prominent Jaquar is on digital platforms like Instagram.

Thereby, I was able to collect vast details about the brand inventory and brand exploratory of Jaquar, as well as gave suggestions for improvement. A small brand communication plan was also prepared to help the Company interact with its concerned parties smoothly and where it can place its focus more in the coming times.
