Abstract:

Energy plays an important part in manufacturing industries and being an automotive industry, this commodity is a need without any question. Even when the companies are finding out more efficient ways to manage their work and labor so how can energy can be left behind. PPAP being a tier 1 automotive part manufacturer the energy demand is more to keep their task running, moreover with the upcoming demand – reaction energy market and legal guidelines industry need to consider the new approaches to adjust their energy intake making them more efficient. To ensure there is no excess use of energy in the area where it’s not required energy audits are done, these audits helps in determining the energy usage by the specific machinery and performance indicator related to the same.

Having the energy and manufacturing records helps in computing the energy patterns and charts of the manufacturing practices and use them to construct energy efficient production plans.

After the energy audit is conducted a brief report gives an idea and an action plan to move and which source of energy to integrate to get energy at an efficient and cost-effective way. In the present case scenario solar energy and green sourcing is the main concern for the company. Energy efficiency comes in the play when all the major performance indicator is tackled and the existing one which has the chance of improvement are taken into the account to make more use of the energy.
