The fight against Climate Change is evolving every day, with new actions, disclosures, policies and transitions arising at Local, National and International level. Everybody has their share of responsibility to ensure continuity of well being, economy, development and business in the light of Climate Change. Risk assessment of financial implications to a business by impacts of climate and are an essential part of building a resilient business yet is a new and growing area of disclosure, as is indicated in the background study of this research. This report is an attempt to identify all types of risk to one site of GAIL (India) Limited due to impacts of climate change and underlying opportunities along with suggested mitigations . The physical impact of rising temperature has been seen to cause rise in Make-up Water demand of processes at Petrochemical plant as well as ….. Rupees of loss due to hampered labour productivity. Qualitative analysis of other types of risks are also part of the study.
