There is huge demand for creating development processes that are inclusive of all social castes, is politically feasible keeping in mind the ecological sustainability of that process. These processes face multiple challenges mainly due to inefficient and biased procurement of land by the state for projects related to development. The project aims to compile the data related to the Indian Land Laws so that such inefficiencies and biases can be studied in detail. For this a machine learning framework is made for digitization of large volume of scanned legal documents using OCR engine Tesseract. Further Integration and cleaning of land legislation dataset with data on forest cover, mines, dams, and schedule areas is done using Mapbox. The dataset is then displayed on the interactive district web map.
