Climate change has become a real defining issue and is seen as the emerging problem in the 21st century. For developing economies like India, climate change is not only an environmental issue, but it is also a key developmental challenge as India has the largest proportion of global poor. The major sectors in which the community development activities are implemented are agriculture, trainings, health and infrastructure. This report uses both primary data which was obtained from site visits and village level focused group discussions and beneficiary interactions and secondary data which was used to establish the relationship between various community development activities and their share in decreasing climate change vulnerability in the region. Also, secondary data was used to fulfil the second objective of this study by giving recommendations for various activities which can further help in decreasing climate change vulnerability. The activities such as waste land development, livestock management, seeds distribution, health camps, trainings, road construction, etc. have helped in decreasing climate change vulnerability as they have helped in increasing the irrigation efficiency, agricultural income, livestock management and care, crop diversification, livelihood diversification, social inclusion of women, infrastructural availability etc. The conclusions and recommendations focus on the various options or ideas that can be used to further decrease the climate change vulnerability by adapting to various adaptation options suggested.
