Abstract: Financing Energy Efficiency in Bangladesh looks at Financing Energy Efficiency through innovative mechanisms. Basically it looks at 3 Financing Mechanisms and how most Financing in Energy Efficiency is a combination of these 3 mechanisms. It also finds several shortcomings and barriers in financing Energy Efficiency in a Bangladesh and other developing countries like policy, regulatory, tariff level in the country and the way forward for such countries. It also examines the dynamics of this particular issue and by what approach it could be conquered in operational and practical terms.
