Abstract: Rapid urbanization has increased pollution in the residential areas. One solution to this is introducing the concept of Green Buildings. Green building refers to strategies, techniques and construction products that are resource-efficient reduce wastes, pollution and environmental degradation as compared to traditional building practices. This study helps the interested people in understanding the consumers view over Green Buildings. Also, the factors responsible while making purchasing decisions for a property. This in turn will help in knowing the consumer‟s willingness to pay for the building which is green as compared to their current regular buildings. This study through primary survey in North West Delhi highlights the awareness level amongst individuals regarding the same.
