Abstract: The meaning of energy efficiency means that to produce the same amount of output less energy is required. And the meaning of energy efficient product is that the instrument or the equipment that helps in producing the same amount of output by consuming lesser energy. This study has examined what variables that affect the consumption of the LED bulbs in a household and by how much does it affect. The study has been done in the urban regions of New Delhi and a sample survey was conducted to get the data for the same. And from the results the policy implications has been also stated in the end of the study.
