Abstract: Centre for Responsible Business (CRB) since its inception in 2010 has been one stop
destination for development of capacity building, advisory services and think tank for
building initiatives in the domain of business responsibility and voluntary sustainability
standards. Today CRB is recognised at national and international levels due to the sheer hard
work and perseverance of its team of dedicated employees.
Based out of New Delhi and global orientation, CRB’s activities and organized under four
verticals:
• Training and Capacity Building
• Convening Knowledge Forums
• Customized Advisory Services
• Action and Policy Research
These verticals form the upright structure of functioning for CRB; multiple verticals
collaborate to help successfully accomplish the objectives of the projects.
Internship at CRB came with the opportunity to explore and exercise skills required for
marketing of an organization. The following are the activities that involve the usage of these
skills:
• Communication
• Background Research
• Event Management
Internship at CRB proved to become a bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical
usage of marketing skills acquired from MBA program and latest software. The internship
also gave an opportunity to harness people skills, team building and work ethics. Hence the
purpose of pre-placement training was fruitful in acclimatizing for future.
