Abstract: Being an organization that operates on an international level and provides water treatment support to many organizations in India, GE Power realized its huge business opportunity because of compliance and some firms doing it voluntary to reuse and recycle the wastewater they are generating. It is a growing wastewater treatment company in India. This study is about finding the new business opportunities for GE Power and water in case of decentralized wastewater treatment in Mumbai and nearby areas.
The main source of data for the study is the in house documents reports from various pollution control board and other interactions such as business to business meetings, interviews with the clients and partners. The other sources of data was the interaction with different people in the organization and outside the organization like various stakeholders of GE Power.
The report will focus on how some leads are generated in wastewater treatment and in future they can be converted into good business opportunities.
