Abstract: MNRE had proposed an all India competition for the design of the new Akshay Urja Bhavan
Competition. We were hired by our client a very prominent architect to look after the sustainability
aspects of the project. I was given the honour of looking after the Renewable energy aspects of the
project and we experimented with gasifiers, biogas plants, solar thermal systems, solar PV and wind
systems.
