Abstract: This thesis work comprises of the preparation of Detailed Project Report for development of Solar Photovoltaic projects at Tezpur University Campus. The Detailed Project Report will include technical and economical assessment of the Solar Photovoltaic projects. Based on Solar Resource Assessment at Tezpur University and Google Earth, preliminary sites were selected for Solar PV installation. In the later stage, DPR was prepared for the 3 selected sites for Solar PV projects, which include Rooftop PV project (ISI Building Rooftop, 72 kWp), Ground Mounted PV project (Outdoor Stadium-1 Site-1, 207 kWp) and Parking Shed PV project (Guest House Parking, 26.4 kWp). The DPR contains Site Details, Resource Assessment analysis, Technology selection, System Layout prepared using AutoCAD, Single Line Diagram prepared using AutoCAD, Energy Yield and Performance Simulation using PVSyst, Schedule for O&M and Financial Assessment.
